ASCITES

a male aged 40 habitually adict to liquor came with ascites having oedema feet non diabetic hypertension 140/100 pulse weak and slow edge of liver was not palpable no dysponea yet. I got his scan done which reveals alcoholic liver disease with complications portal hypertension splenomegally and ascites. spleen 135mm in size liver 128mm regular margins , hepatic portal veins prominent.
