i am bothering you all again on a subject which really annoy me. yesterday during snehpaan one of my patient told this ghritam tastes and in fact is lighter from yesterdays dose.i just gave some damn horrible excuse. but the real thing was i opened a new bottle from kottakal of indukanth ghritam.so you all can understand the difference between the batches. again yesterday one of my patient complained that aarogyavardhini which i gave and what she got from market is different. now this again from unjha and baidynath, both reputated(so called) companies.i think we all understand the differences the herbs may have at the time of procurement, like guna virya vippak at time of collection and little difference in making, but is this excusable if the difference is so vast that patients start noticing it? dont u all feel like to shut use and ban these companies, when we have to make stupid excuses to save reputations? what we can do about it? is there any chance in future to get some stringent laws for these suckers? ....

MEDICAL RENAL DISEASE

Dear Doctor's greetings. Thanks for your previous support.

A male patient of 31 years age was having HTN and fever since last 4 months. He was admitted in Gangaram Hospital of Delhi and on investigating was diagnosed as MEDICAL RENAL DISEASE and even had done Dialysis twice. Doctor's their advised him to immideately go for Renal Transplant.

Dear friends,im sorry to say this, but it’s a fact that we all have to agree as the art of clinical practice is dying slowly.now a days everbody is interested in investigations and nobody wants to apply his clinical mind at all.by doing this type of practice we earn money by getting commisions from local lab or dignostic centre but what we miss eventually is, our own mental ability to diagnose the disease on clinical para meters.why im saying this because our public cannot afford that much of amount for only investigations. Most of the cases you get in routine practice do not need investigations to draw to a conclusion.observation,detailed case history and even our own naadi pariksha will help most of the time.
Medical emergencies may come at any time to our clinic (may be once in a life time) we should have enough subject, practical knowledge and courage to deal with those.but often we have to decide on the examination table itself whether the case really needs immediate medical attention or not…for that you have to be self sufficient on your knowledge of clinical methods.we all about know about it but we rarely apply…....

When I was in ayurved-college, our batch is of 30 students. Out of these 30 friends only 2 are practicing ayurved.(out of 2 one is myself) Other 28 choose allopathy General practice.
This condition is very common in every college.
Why lot of ayurved graduates are not interested in starting ayurved practice?
Why they attract towards modern line of treatment?
Is it our teacher’s mistake or anything other?
When they are forced to practice, most of them replied that ayurved practice is very hard.

Make your folder/folders or even the drive of your computer as favourite. Give options as offline or online. Selecting offline you can access yr file even if your computer is off, but you can’t transfer anything to the computer while online selection enable you to send any file to yr computer. You can access any file-word, excel, ppt, pdf, photo, music etc.
Furthermore one can access these files from your mobile also-must have a nokia smart phone having internet and mobile office as most of the Nokia E-series and N-series have this facility. You can download this application from ovi store which is again free......

I am having one patient complaining frequent stools.. he can't leave his home even for 2-3 hours.. he is having this problem since 10-12 years. he lives in village and is purely vegetarian. LIMB GIRDLE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY

a male patient ,46yr,c/o gradual loss of power in arms followed by limbs over a period of 4 yrs since the appearance of first symptom.now only minimal movements are there, couldnt walk, appetite,sleep,bowels,urine all normal.no sensory abnormality.respiratory movements normal.patients intellectual status remains intact.no maternal/paternal history of similar illness.no h/o any infectious fever.mild pain in cervical region.the case has been diagnosed by one neurologist as limb girdle muscular dystrophy, other neurologist has opined as chronic neurogenic atrophy with drgeneration of anterior horn cells.has undergone physiotherapy,accupressure,unani,treatments.also underwent ayurvedic treatments like pizhichil,navarakizhi,navara lepam, dhara,nasyam etc for 40 days along with internal medicine at kerala.also consulted one more ayurvedic dr who has prescribed,ksheerabala101,brihat vata chinthamani,amrutha bhalathaka.kumara kalyana ras.patient is having no improvement.what can i do? i have told him that it is incurable and what we can do is only to slow the progress.....

i want to learn from all my friends that whether our system needs R&D?is it the right time to show this world that we are capable giving the treatment to the patients and at the same time it can also be proved on scientific parameters which today's world wants from each and every system which is responsible for the betterment of human beings as a whole?why we are not doing any work to show the people of our country that our medicines are safe?why there is no any scientific para meters are seriously carried out by the institutions for detecting our products efficacy,mode of action and its after effects to tell the public that these are all safe.why i want to tell all these because, my friends there is no harm in finding our products mode of action and its so called side effects.knowing anything for good is not at all a bad thing.if you all think that there is no need to answer this absurd question.in a few days to come people will demand the same from us.that day will come very soon.if all of you think we don't need this, what has been written in texts is very much true and nothing can be added or deleted.i wont ask this type of questions in future.thank you.after all my efforts is to bring transparency in what we are doing.please don't give one line answers.i think this topic doesnt deserve one line answers at least......

we all ,in our practise use granthokta dravya (kalp)for chikitsa.many times there are some combinations that are modified or alterd or developed.when prove sucesssful we use them in more patient.that is anubhut chikitsa.
my question is to all vaidyas. 
in Asthisushirata(osteoporosis)we use basti.
Are there any specific kalp yojana used by u for niruh or anuvasan.
what are your choice of quath or tails in such cases.(i know every patient require differnt yojana)but the cases you treated for, i want to know your experiance

HODGKIN'S LYMPHOMA

A 54 years old patient with Diabetes since 4 years, is being diagnosed as having Hodgkin's Lymphoma 4 years ago.
Patient had cervical Lymphadenopathy, ( A lymph node enlarged of the size of a cricket ball). He got the FNAC done s/o Hodgkin's L.
He had Lymphadenopathy of other Lymph nodes in the cervical region, also affecting the cervical vertebrae.
He had chemotherapy in 2007 after which the size of Lymph nodes reduced but nodular enlargement is still there.
At present , he is feeling stiffness in the cervical region & difficulty in complete opening of the Jaw.
His body weight & appetite is normal.
Hb, TLC, DLC, Platelet Count are all normal.
ESR is 42mm/1st hour.
Suggest the possible.....
