A 34 year female patient came to me complainig of a boil in right perianal region with purulent discharge and pain off and on intermittently. She had such problem first time some 18 months back. She suffers from it for about 6-7 days and get cured apperently without any discharge thereafter. She had about 4 attacks of it at the same site since last 18 months but on examination I was surprised to see that the perianal region was clean without any opening or discharge. There was no tenderness in any region. P/R examination and proctoscopy revealed nothing significant. When I asked her that when the last episode came she replied that it was some 3 months ago. She is perfectly normal at present without any symptom of ano-rectal disease?
What this disease can be? Ayurveda surgeons/kshara-sutra specialists please give your comments?......
