a male aged 10 came to me with continous bleeding from teeth after prick from pencil 2 days ago. i got his bleeding time tested it came out to be about 20 minutes. taking him to be haemophilic as the history was also positive mother's maternal uncles were haemophilic i referred him to DMC. it was found that factor 8 was missing. factor 8 was administered to stop bleeding. since then he is developing repeated haematomas on his knee and ankle joints and every open wound lets him to factor8 injection. his younger brther got high temperature and convulsion. his MRI revealed leakage of blood in brain. he too was treated at DMC and tested for haemophilia which came to be normal. now even younger brother has started developing haematomas.Do genetic diseases present with such pattern of negative and positive. what can be the treatment.....
