a male 40 years old is under treatment at PGI for renal failure for last5/6years and condition is stable with s.createnine around 3.6.when i was called to examine him he was having fixed gaze from last one day no sleep and resisted any touch or contact. had not consumed a sip of water from last two days. attendants persuaded him to have a sip of juice which he was holding in his mouth from last 3 hours. his pulse was normal. he resisted checking of bp i could record only systolic 180mm of hg.Going through the totality of the case i advised them to get him IV infusions in some nursing home to which they agreed. today his attendant visited me again and reported that patient has improved a lot but there is no sleep from last3/4 days not even a wink. the treatment at nursing home is of ampoxiciline dextrose 10% and MVI only.what help can be offered in ayurveda .....
