Persons holding Ayurveda Ratan and Vaidya Visharad from Hindi Sahitya Samelan Prayag Allahabad after 1967 are no more eligible to do practice any where in India irrespective of their registration in any state register.
A landmark decision was given by the bench of honourable judges Dr. B.S. Chauhan and Mr. Swantra Kumar of supreme courts on 1st of June 2010. It will affect all the persons doing practices on behalf of these certificates. Court makes following points very clear-
1. Hindi Sahitya Samelan Prayag Allahabad is merely a society registered under societies act and doesn’t show that it has expertise in the field of medical education including Ayurveda. Furthermore never applied for affiliation to any legally established institution or body after 1967.
2. Any person registered with the state medicine Board is not entitled to do practice if his qualification are not under clause iii,iii and iv of CCIM act 1970. ....
