Case - a gentle man aged 68 years 2 months ago presented with two ulcers in the ventral aspect of the right lower foot. first one measuring 1" x 1 '' nearly 3 inches away from the ankle joint and the second one measuring 3/4 x 3/4 '' over the crease of the ankle joint. the depth of the ulcer was roughly 2 cms with a slopy edge. granulation tissues were not present and the ulcer exhibited purulent and sanguineous discharge. the intensity of pain was severe due to oedema surrounding the ankle and lower aspect of pre-tibial. the nature of pain was pricking and burning.itching too was complained of.
