a medium built 45 year old lady non diabetic hypertensive about two month ago felt pain in her right breast. on touching it she felt hard mass about 5 cm. beneath. she went to dr. who advised FNAC . this test reveals serous fluid, clusters of apocrine cells, few macro phages numerous polymorphs.
and was diagnosed cystic disease breast with acute inflammation. she got treatment for two months and was then advised operation. today she came to me O/E 5 cm. slightly tender firm and mobile lump was felt just beneath nipple. no prominence of lymph glands is seen in sub axillary region. no other lump is seen any where. tenderness is more in days of mensturation.
