pt.age 32 yrs ,wt 103kg came to me with fungal infection over glans penis.he was applying 'antifungal+steroidal'cream over it since 1 month.from last 2 days it was severely itching and paining,so pt came to me.as usual i advised to check him BSL..He was detected as diabetic with BSL(PP)-248 and urine-2+.
taking these things in mind i started him -
1)katak khadiradi kashay-in kaphaj prameha aap mahabhut dushti occurs and katak is aap shuddhikar.khadira has specific role in rakta dushti and twak vikar.
2)meh nashak yog-contains shilajit,jambu,methika,haridra etc.
3)for l/a candid cream(here i use allopathic medicine for local application to give early relief to pt.,if u have alt.ayurvedic remedy for fugal infection pl.tell me.)
4)diet and exercise advise in detail.
after 1 wk pt.was having 90 % relief from fungal infection.his weight was reduced by 3 kg.and bsl(pp)-170 ,urine-trace.
so with the help of ayurveda pt got good relief within 1 week.
(i know this is not pure ayurvedic way of thinking,if i am wrong please correct me.).....
