I've seen a naturopathy doctor doing 'cupping therapy' along with accupuncture.
In this treatment he uses glass cups. He pricks the site with needles and puts a cup on it. With a syringe he creates a vaccuum and 2-3 ml blood comes in the cup. He said this is a special technique he learned from a chinese expert. The name he didn't mention.
This method I found very similar to Alabu method of raktamokshana. Is there any new version of Raktamokshana by Alabu or Shring method anybody is using in daily practise?
