COLO-CUTANEOUS FISTULA WITH SOME RARE MANIFESTATIONS

Dear friends,
First of all I would like to thank Dr.Sachin Rewaarji whole heartedly for sending this very interesting case to me. Though I cannot do much in this case but I have learned a lot from this case. The conclusion of this case study would be more or less of a surgical intervention, but I wanted to present this in medical point of view with certain developments in this case occurred recently which are not actually considered as good signs for the prognosis of the disease of the individual.
The main aim of presenting this case is that we cannot treat each and every disease but we can learn from each and every disease, something that can be adapted later in our practice if at all possible after gaining some experience, if not then it will be a lesson for us. So positive thinking always helps us.
This is a fascinating at the same time a very sad story of a young patient. This young man came to me (Rfd by Rewaarji) with the complaints of pus discharge from the just below the inguinal region (L) and irritation around the ext opening with on/off pain in the left inguinal region and in the left side of the abdomen. All these symptoms started 15 to 20 years back when he was a child.......
