a male aged 37 teacher by profession with no family H/o RA got first time pain joints in 1990. he was put on steroids and was normal after tappering off of steroids for five years, then again pains relapsed and he opted for treatment from unqualified persons. slight improvement but suddenly worsened to acute stage. went under treatment of rheumatologist at Ludhiana who offered RQZ 200mg , methitrixine 10mg once a week, supradin and follic acid. and prednisolone which stands removed from prescription now . patient resumed normal activity. this treatment is on since 1999. now again pain in one knee is becoming prominent. no swelling or bony deformity is apparently visible. RA strongly positive. he is afraid of reducing medicines . wishes to be cured with ayurveda.......
