LIMB GIRDLE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY

a male patient ,46yr,c/o gradual loss of power in arms followed by limbs over a period of 4 yrs since the appearance of first symptom.now only minimal movements are there, couldnt walk, appetite,sleep,bowels,urine all normal.no sensory abnormality.respiratory movements normal.patients intellectual status remains intact.no maternal/paternal history of similar illness.no h/o any infectious fever.mild pain in cervical region.the case has been diagnosed by one neurologist as limb girdle muscular dystrophy, other neurologist has opined as chronic neurogenic atrophy with drgeneration of anterior horn cells.has undergone physiotherapy,accupressure,unani,treatments.also underwent ayurvedic treatments like pizhichil,navarakizhi,navara lepam, dhara,nasyam etc for 40 days along with internal medicine at kerala.also consulted one more ayurvedic dr who has prescribed,ksheerabala101,brihat vata chinthamani,amrutha bhalathaka.kumara kalyana ras.patient is having no improvement.what can i do? i have told him that it is incurable and what we can do is only to slow the progress.....
