As all of us are very well aware that each and every case of Bhagandara is different and sometimes usual approach may not be fruitful...rather it can create a menace while treating it. I am a firm believer of opinion that everything can’t be learnt by studying books or following the same principles...Sometimes we have to go out of the usual way to achieve the desired effects....!!!!!
In clinical practice some cases teach you how to study the subject once again and some other teaches how to adapt the subject in your routine clinical practice. This very case is one of such difficult cases where you sit in a corner and think what am I doing??? Am I going in the right track or not??? because in this particular case Kshar Sutra actually aggravated the actual condition and I want to stress this point because Kshar Sutra is not a Kayam Churn ( Sau Taale ..Ek Chaabi)...it has its own limitations.
This case study actually highlights the importance of some important group of Aushadhis which were mentioned in Susruta Samhita and those wonderful drugs are somehow overshadowed and submerged under the larger than the life image and immense success rate of Kshar Sutra........
