a 50 year male is suffering from ascites from the past 3 years and go for ascitic tap in every 15 days(fluid comes out to be approx 1.5 litres per 15 days)
he had a H/O empyema, pleural effusion, peri cardial effusion. all 3 years back took treatment from various hospital(PGI GMCH 32 and other private hospital) including TAP, antiboiotics.
IJP and rt cephalic vein thrombosis
he is also having DVT.
he had undergone thoracic duct ligation surgery in may,2010.......
