PREVENT HEPATIC DIORDERS IN A GENETICALLY SUSCEPTIBLE INDIVISUAL

Respected Scholars of Ayurveda
I have a 41 years old Male patient, who although has normal parameters except for mild hypertention which is well within control with allopathic medicines. His liver Function test
Are normal
He has suffered an attack of jaundice 5 years back.
His brother and father usually have hepatic problems. 
His elder brother has been hospitalised twice for Hepatitis B
The Patient has no significant signs and symptoms but is taking hepato-protective medications since last five years which includes Liv-52, Livfit etc. He is residing in USA 
He wanted to consult about 
What preventive measures can he adopt to protect himself from liver related problems? 
What dietary habits should he follow?
How much alcohol can he take in a day?
Any suggestions in this concern are welcome...
