A female patient aged about 26yrs came to me with complaints of excesive hair fall with greying of hairs and whitening of hairs associated with mild baldness due to excessive hair fall.Even her sister is suffering from same complaints(hair fall and irregular periods).Gives no family history of baldness.Says her parents are having good hair growth and mother had regular periods.Patient gives h/o irregular periods since her menarche had pcod but at present no pcod showed her scan its free of pcod.having hormonal imbalance lots of work stress.She works as a medical transcriptionist no exercise she is weighing 50kgs 4feet 11inches height.Says using trichup shampoo and oil since many months but no good results.not having enough time to put oil.uses coconut oil to hairs applys weekly once or sometimes 15days once.Says she will take head bath 2 to 3 times per week.Checked her hb its 11 to 12gms.She gives h/o bronchities since her childhood on regular ayurvedic treatment at present not having that problem at all.Gives h/o hole in a tympanic membrane had septoplasty many years back not yet underwent tympanoplasty says coz doctor thought hole is small no need of surgery using ear plugs while bath not having any problems of it.Having acne problems.showing to a dematologist taking microderma abrasion therapy and orally antibiotics and applying acne creams locally.Not having even that problem now.She is only worried about her hairs.Please suggest me how to treat.
