a 6 year old child presented with blood in urine x 2 days.
present history- the child had fever for last 4-5 days and was taken to a local practitioner who gave antibiotics and antipyretics. since yeaterday the child complains of dark red colour urine.
on examination - the child looks pale, is afebrile, no tenderness or swelling in supra-pubic region. no burning micturition. throat appears congested and tonsils enlarged. respiration normal. urinalysis shows reddish-brown urine many rbc and albumin++ rest within normal linits. the urine shows rbc even if a drop of urine is kept under microscope without putting through a centrifuge........
