VENOUS ULCER

A male patient aged 68 years having varicose vein since 35 years,operated for the same 20 years back,but no cure.now he had developed ulcer over the right leg,before development of the ulcer he had fever tierdness,itching sensation in the leg,when he scrached the leg due to itching 
ulcer begins to start.
ulcer is too large there is also a pus discharge from the ulcer.please give me your valuable suggestion to treat this patient.....
